I love you 3

I Love You 3 was created for an exhibition inviting artists to make a life-size self-portrait as a toy. Its title comes from an exchange with my young son, who would reply "I love you three" when I told him "I love you too". Constructed from recycled cardboard boxes and wallpaper rolls, the castle combines imagined architecture with windows drawn from my childhood homes, creating a playful landscape where memory and invention overlap. Painted using balloon printing, the work embraces the language of children's art activities, reflecting the collaborative, imaginative making that formed part of everyday life while raising my son.

Medium: Cardboard boxes, wallpaper rolls, paper and acrylic paint.
